Darren Kershaw takes over the

reins at Madison Park Homes.

Darren Kershaw now heads up the Madison Park Homes building team. Until recently, Darren in his role as Construction Manager, successfully administered the building process of all Madison Park Homes from council consent to handover. His broad industry knowledge of all aspects of the MPH business made him a natural successor when it came for a change of leadership.

Stephen Johnson, the founder and owner of Madison Park Homes, has over 25 years building experience in the North Shore and Rodney districts. Having been involved with national building brands for many years, and having overseen the completion of over 600 homes during his career, Stephen felt the industry needed to be more customer focussed and open to offering more creative and design driven solutions to the challenging and complex road that is new home building. So in early 2018 he launched Madison Park Homes offering quality homes at all levels of affordability. With new systems and processes now in place the company is in a great position to move forward and it is with complete confidence that Stephen passes the mantel for growth to Darren.

“Darren’s skills in managing every aspect of a home build, from design and planning, to council consents and compliances, to liasing and working with customers, staff, tradespeople and subcontractors, means that he is able to deliver quality homes at very competitive prices within much shorter timeframes than many of our competitors,” says Stephen.

“Darren and I have worked together for over five years and during this time I have always been impressed with his ability to co-ordinate the many complex parts of the building process in a disciplined and professional manner. His outstanding communication and relationship skills are key to maintaining client trust and satisfaction throughout the building period, which of course, is of invaluable benefit to both the company and the client.”

“The transition is primarily an internal management change allowing Stephen to pursue family interests and recreational opportunities,” Darren says. “Stephen has a wealth of knowledge and has developed a superior brand. With his continued guidance, I am excited to lead the company into the next stage of the Madison Park Homes story.”

“Effectively it is business as usual. We will continue to work with top designers for our Never Ordinary house range and remain committed to sourcing and using local products, suppliers and contractors. Most importantly, our passion to deliver quality homes at all levels of affordability, from first home buyers to large country residences, remains steady. We will continue to build Never Ordinary homes that our clients will love to live in.”

You should view the outstanding quality achievable in a Madison Park Home build by visiting the show home at 126 Colonial Drive, Millwater. Be sure to also visit Milldale, the new sub-division located on the other side of the motorway from Millwater, to see work in progress with their brand new show home scheduled for opening late October 2019. The new show home site is located at Lot 49, 66 Maurice Kelly Road in Milldale. And throughout the Milldale development look out for very competitively priced but Never Ordinary house and land packages on carefully selected sites.
