Marlene & Gary Robinson – Millwater

Our new home is based on an existing Madison Park Home plan which we felt would suit our lifestyle with a few modifications. Madison Park were great in listening to our suggestions and then changing the plan to suit. We enjoy having friends around, so a good size living area and an indoor outdoor flow was important to us. The plan included a butler’s pantry and washing up area away from where we entertain, so we do not sit looking at a whole pile of dirty dishes when entertaining. The fourth bedroom means our family who live overseas can come an stay with us at some stage in the future. We love the higher than normal ceilings, the high quality of craftsmanship, and the big shower space! And the garden allowance – Jake was a pleasure to deal with. He offered us some good garden ideas, added things we liked and we ended up with an easy maintenance garden which suits us perfectly.

We had previously built in Stanmore Bay, but found the time it took to get to the motorway became too long. We decided to look for somewhere with better motorway access. We looked around Millwater as well as other developments and private sections for sale, but decided that Millwater suited us best. We looked at various house and land packages as well as already built houses. After looking at the ready-built houses, we didn’t really see anything we felt really comfortable with – there were always compromises. We looked at house and land packages from various companies and slowly whittled down the options – either through section location, price or other factors.

When we approached Madison Park Homes, we felt they understood what we were looking for, and what was important to us as a family. There was no pressure and any questions we asked were always answered honestly and helped put our minds at ease about our decisions. Ultimately, looking at the outcome, we know that their advice and answers were honest and reliable.

From our first visit to the Madison Park Home show home, we had a comfortable feeling. We went back a few times with different questions and never got the feeling we were asking too much or that we were an irritation. Although there were a few other builders with sections nearby, Madison just seemed to be a good fit with us.

We were impressed with their clear communication and the mobile app they run called Builder Trend is impressive. It shows you their building schedule as well as pictures of the progress that has been made. The communication was constant but not so much that you felt it was overdone.

From concept to handover, Madison Park Homes were easy to deal with, listened and were understanding. They offered great service and went the extra mile. We felt we had value for money and a high quality home at the end.
